Wilson Park Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher – Primary to join their strong team and diverse environment.
The successful applicant will be a hard-working and enthusiastic teacher who will be a dedicated, resilient and positive team player. Your ability to create a joyful learning environment will be key to this role. You will also ideally have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff and be committed to fostering and maintaining positive communication and relationships within the school and wider community.
Wilson Park PS has a rich tradition and history of serving the Collie community for over years and our students have a strong sense of belonging and pride in their school. We are all affectionately known as 'Parkies' and we respect, support and care for each other. As part of our commitment to student success we provide a strong focus on targeted learning programs and supportive pastoral care.
Our highly experienced staff have high expectations of students and engage them in interesting education activities. We recognise that success builds self-esteem and confidence therefore, our learning programs are designed to build on children's prior knowledge and to support them in learning new skills.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
