About the role:
Tenterfield District Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate person centred care within the General Medical and Emergency Department ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. You will be supported in this role with a part time Educator onsite and a supportive team.
Where you'll be working:
Tenterfield District Hospital is a small rural nursing unit supporting 18 inpatient beds and 2 Emergency Department beds.
Tenterfield is located a three hour drive from Brisbane and is surrounded by national parks and vineyards. There are two primary schools and a high school catering to the local population of three thousand. Tenterfield is a historical paradise with arts and railway museums, an area of natural beauty with Bald Rock and Basket Swamp National Parks and for leisure time boasts wineries and a golf club and lodge.
You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills. You have a demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised person centred care. Rural and regional experience and FLECC or similar is also advantageous.
