Would you like to develop a career as a truck driver with an established and rewarding company?

Austral Bricks QLD is currently seeking Truck Drivers based at our Rochedale, QLD site. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service through the safe, efficient and timely delivery and pick up of Brickworks products. Daily interactions will occur with customers, subcontractors, members of the transport and sales team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Approaching each task with a focus on safety;
•Load and unload trucks;
•Transport materials to and from specified destinations such as construction building sites, Retail stores, plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards;
•Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as oil, water, tyres, lights, or brakes;
•Maintain records for goods delivered or loaded including signed POD’s;
•Verify the contents of loads against Delivery Dockets; and
•Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, in accordance with COR or NHVR Mass regulations.

Success Requirements

•Forklift licence (LF).
•Current CV & HC License.
•Construction industry White card (or equivalent).
•Experienced truck driver with Crane experience.
•Excellent customer service skills.
•Good knowledge of South East Queensland road networks.
•Ability to prioritise tasks.
•Strong problem-solving skills.
•Good time management & organisational skills.
•Experience in delivery of building products (desirable).
