Junior Capacity Planner

Working with one of Australia’s largest telecommunications companies, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Execution of the capacity plan; The Capacity Planner is responsible for responding to in-month changes to demand and supply by developing a cost-effective resource strategy in line with business plans in order to meet customer service program requirements (SLAs, Regulatory, Cycle Times).
  • Monitoring and analysing differences between planned and actual capacity and demand. They will be required to adjust the short-term capacity plan as required, based on analytics.
  • The Capacity Planner must proactively highlight business risks, take action where possible, and/or escalate appropriately where not.
  • Experience:

  • 1-4 years’ practical experience in a related work environment.
  • Knowledge of Anaplan and/or planning tools such as ServiceMax, Oracle Field Service Cloud, ClickSchedule/Plan.
  • Experience planning for large transactional workforces (> 150 resources) over diverse geographic areas.
  • Basic understanding of FTTX technology and technician mobility.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, ability to interpret data, and ability to provide business (operational and financial) recommendations to mitigate short-term supply balance and skill gap variations.
