Providing strategic leadership and advice for all teaching related performance and development policies, initiatives and programs, whilst building the capacity of school staff and continually improve outcomes for students across the NSW public school system.

• Demonstrated understanding of the professional standards and accreditation processes and capacity to manage systems supporting accreditation processes

• Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education and Training policies to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
