Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works.

The role of Superintendent will see you working on a Turnaround in Moranbah, and responsible for the below; 

  • Ensure compliance to the HSE and Quality Management Plans
  • Show outstanding leadership and commitment to HSE and Quality
  • Ensure all personnel participate in the identification and elimination of hazards
  • Immediately reports and assists with the investigation of all incidents
  • Manage Supervisors across multiple work fronts and multiple disciplines including subcontractor Supervision
  • Assist the Schedulers with the sequencing of scope activities and set logic to the schedule
  • Participate in Setup Time Reduction workshops
  • Execute field works to plan, adjusting resourcing in line with schedule and milestone priorities
  • Adhere to schedule and confirms accuracy for both productive and non-productive time
  • Analyse schedule to determine longest path activities and communicate priorities to the leads
  • Ensures critical system handovers outside normal hours are planned and communicated to maximise schedule opportunities
  • Liaise with the Project Schedulers to provide accurate daily updates of progress
  • Monitor and ensure work is completed within the controls defined in the work pack
  • Manage all changes outside of the defined scope of works
  • Complete final work pack sign-off verifying completion of the defined scope of work
  • Investigate and assist with the management of Field Discrepancy's
  • Review and manage performance of subcontractors
  • Monitor and audit all Workpack progress including FIC and ITP compliance
  • Provide continuous guidance to Supervisors and monitor progress

  • What you will bring

  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years' experience supervising trade qualified supervisors
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fields of Mechanical, Piping and SMP
  • Experience delivering Maintenance / Industrial projects (preferred) or construction projects
  • Experience supervising other qualifications as & when required - Scaffolding, Rigging etc.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with clients
