We are seeking a Services Manager to be the central point of co-ordination for the Application Services team ensuring alignment, strategy and approach for transitioning solutions into Application Services operations.
This role will provide strategic/tactical leadership and oversight for creating, sustaining, implementing, and driving efficient and effective use of Application Services staff supporting the program.
Some of the primary accountabilities are: Will be accountable in the central point of coordination efforts between competing requests within Application Services both from a demand management, Governance protocols and workforce capability perspective. Will lead the overall delivery functions within the Application Services with strong attention to Application Services strategic intent, governance protocols, implementation, and delegation. Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams within Application Services that's requires compliance. Work with project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple streams within Application Services.
To be considered, you must demonstrate the following: The candidate must have proven experience in Service Delivery, particularly Applications. Proven experience working in IT Service Management and/or IT Operations. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of IT Service Management processes and practices. The candidate must have experience supporting transition to operations functions for a major program. The candidate must have experience in managing product vendors as part of a support function. Demonstrated experience working in technically complex ICT environments.
