Theposition is responsible for responding to queries emanating from consumers visiting the Cabot’s website, facebook page, and whatsapp for inspiration and information.

The position is in existence to engage the consumer in the woodcare journey and create an emotional relationship between the consumer and Cabot’s brand with the ultimate aim of converting propensity to purchase/brand favour to conversion to sale of Cabot’s woodcare products.


  • Pro-active go getter with good initiative and willingness to learn
  • A customer satisfaction mentality is required with the passion to help customers to gain a “wow” experience in the somewhat complex journey involved in revitalising homes and buildings through painting
  • The ability to move through a website and other data sources to find and transmit both information, encouragement and excitement is important
  • A problem solving/resourceful mentality is necessary to supply information to consumers in the most efficient way
  • Good solid verbal and written skills are needed in this role

  • 2 years practical experience in consumer facing customer service role
  • Experience in call centre environment ideal
  • Good computer/digital skills
  • HSC or external certificate eg Tafe preferred
  • Experience with woodcare products and category ideal
