About the role

Making beautiful products that last forever starts by building great teams, and we’re looking for a self-motivated and confident Internal Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our Austral Bricks® office in Golden Grove, SA. Reporting to the Retail Sales & Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and growth of Austral Bricks as a front-line representative. You will provide an exceptional customer service experience when interacting through our multiple channels including via phone and email.

Duties include but are not limited to:
•Maintain regular and excellent service to customers to achieve sales targets;
•Maintain detailed and current knowledge of the Company’s products and services;
•Ensure all sales enquiries are answered in a prompt and courteous manner;
•Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers;
•Inform customers of new products and price movements;
•Provide quotes to customers and convert quotes to sales;
•Maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system;
•Monitor market trends and assist with product development;
•Deliver odd stock sales to small builders;
•Complete data entry of orders, credits and returns;
•Assist in the running and smooth operation of the Design Centre; and
•Coordinate appointments with clients for colour selection.

We are looking for people with:

•At least 5 years demonstrated experience in customer service or internal sales.
•Current Australian Driver’s licence.
•Relevant Tertiary qualifications.
•Experience in identifying and cold calling new customers.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to build and maintain rapport with customers.
•Computer literacy and strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
•Strong time management, administration and organisational skills.
