    About the role
    Develop, manage and support software supporting user interface design across multiple concurrent systems/projects to meet online technology and research requirements in areas, including knowledge management, eResearch and spatial mapping.

    You will:

  • ensure knowledge management, eResearch and spatial mapping systems are continuously improved;
  • ensure development and maintenance of web applications and website using a variety of tools including PHP and MySQL;
  • contribute to the overall plan for staged, continuous improvement of the Centre technologies;
  • ensure technical and end user documentation and resources are developed and regularly updated; and
  • contribute to the ongoing development of the Centre’s technologies.
  • About you
    To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:

  • experience with Unix systems, internet technologies, programming including CMS software, database management and spatial systems;
  • ability to understand, assess and develop solutions incorporating latest research and geospatial data sets, services and technologies;
  • experience in project management within a quality improvement process framework; and
  • written, interpersonal and communication skills.
