Kalgoorlie Boulder Community High School (CHS) is seeking a committed Student Support Officer to join our dedicated Student Services team. The Student Support Officers are responsible for implementing school responses for students at educational risk. This may include responsive and effective youth support service for students, staff and family members.
The Student Support Officer will provide support and advice for teachers on strategies to support at risk students as well as coordinating group sessions.
The successful applicants will have demonstrated expertise in monitoring and responding to student attendance data, implementing inclusive whole school approaches to positive behaviour and support initiatives, as well as the ability to lead and collaborate with others in a team environment.
Kalgoorlie-Boulder CHS provides a wide range of lower secondary courses to students in years to , meeting the needs of all students in the community. The school caters for students from a diverse range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
Kalgoorlie Boulder is a major regional centre which provides comprehensive facilities, services and infrastructure making it a comfortable location in which to live and work. The city is proud of its history and heritage which caters for a significant number of tourists.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy.
