Lendlease currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our South-East Water project team, based in Dandenong South servicing the Mornington Peninsula. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform planned and reactive Maintenance on various Water and Waste Water assets, whilst ensuring that processes and procedures are followed to maintain a safe and accident free workplace. As such, you will possess previous skills in mechanical maintenance of pumping systems, various hydraulic systems, previous experience in the Petrochem industry is desirable. You will have excellent problem-solving capabilities, providing solutions to technical problems which often require immediate attention. You will have basic computer skills including email, word and excel. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Waste Water and Water Construction and Maintenance and associated tasks. Ensure job compliance with all OHS, Environmental and Quality procedures and policies. Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification, and incident notifications. Attend and have active involvement in team meetings and toolbox meetings. Lead and/or assist in the completion of a job through mobile field computing system. Installation and augmentation of major assets/plant/installations. Participation in a Call out roster. To be successful in this role you will hold, or be willing to obtain the following tickets; Construction Induction card. Current Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate, with relevant licences. Confined Space Entry. First Aid. HR Driver’s Licence.
