The Role:

Under the direction of the Team Leader:

  • Be point of contact for Bendigo Kangan Institute RAP Committee and the Indigenous Education Centre queries.
  • Assist the RAP Committee Co-Chairs, Project Officer, Consultant and Indigenous Education Centre in a range of administrative and support functions.
  • Provide administration support and receptionist duties
  • The trainee will be expected to become an effective member of the RAP Committee and Indigenous Education Centre team.

    The trainee will identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and be known in the local community.

    Required Qualifications:

  • For this position, it is a genuine occupational requirement that it be filled by an Aboriginal person or a Torres Strait Islander person as permitted under Part 2 Section 1 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.
  • Trainee will be expected to complete a qualification as identified in the training plan.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWC) Assessment Notice and/or WWC card
  • Police Check
  • Evidence of eligibility to work in Australia
