The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Assistant’s in Nursing to work with our team at Casuarina Grove on the Central Coast. You will have the opportunity to be part of an environment that encourages professional and personal growth as well as further training and career development.

Your role will be to coordinate and deliver quality participant nursing and support services which promote the improvement in quality of life and fosters independence for people with disability who have a range of functional abilities and complex needs. As an AIN you will, deliver person centered support services consistent with individual needs and day to day activities.

You will need to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, work collaboratively and achieve individual and team goals. You will build working relationships with specialist medical services, local community partnerships (including families and carers) and with other stakeholders both within and external to Ability Options.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistant or equivalent
  • Current NSW driver licence (minimum P2)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
  • Proven experience working with those with complex support needs
  • Commitment to people and providing quality services
  • Knowledge of the Disability Service Standards
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Satisfactory background check including NDIS Workers Check and/or Working With Children Check.
