Randstad would like to hear from you if you are an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Officer. We predict new contract opportunities will be coming through and want you to be ready to take on your new APS6 Ministerial/Parliamentary role.

Your duties may include:

  • Coordinate, draft incoming parliamentary documents including ministerial and departmental correspondence, briefs and submissions
  • Work efficiently within the PDMS
  • Generate various reports and provide assistance to staff
  • Liaise effectively with various branches and agencies
  • Allocate ministerials as required
  • Quality assurance of draft replies
  • What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experience in registering submissions and progressing them through the workflow process
  • An ability to work within deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative duties
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • A solid understanding of the public sector and ministerial relationship
  • Previous experience in working with the PDMS
  • Experience in working for the Australian Public Service
