The Role

Responsible for supporting the Group SHEQ Compliance and Assurance Manager with the delivery of an effective and integrated approach to maintaining compliance with applicable legislative, certification, accreditation, and governance requirements.

In this role you will support the following areas:

  • The establishment and achievement of measurable corporate objectives and targets, including relevant policies, strategic objectives, ISO principles, processes and supporting documentation
  • The implementation, review and maintenance of the SHEQ audit program, audit plan, schedule, auditor qualifications, audit delivery, reporting and corrective action management
  • Conduct designated audits in accordance with the SHEQ audit program and schedule 
  • Provide mentoring and training as required on audit integrity and assurance activity
  • Maintenance of accreditation and certifications (ISO, OFSC and Self Insurance)
  • SHEQ management system to identify potential compliance issues, define the likely impacts and manage delegated actions to support change.
  • The delivery and development of SHEQ Compliance and Assurance via designated business systems (BMS, SharePoint sites and registers, PowerBI reports, PowerApps, Electronic audit database, Excel) 
  • The Group management system review
  • Group SHEQ Strategy and projects as required
  • The preparation of audit and compliance reporting in accordance with the SHEQ Reporting Plan
  • The crisis response team as required

    The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships and networks within the business and work collaboratively across a complex environment. You will be a resilient, adaptable and hardworking individual with a proactive can-do approach to you work. In addition we are also looking for the following: 

  • Relevant Compliance sand Auditing experience
  • Lead Systems Auditor certification / qualifications
  • A strong background and understanding in Quality and Safety Management Systems Process
  • Excellent communicator at all levels and strong management and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and consultative approach
  • Strong IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft Applications such as PowerBI and SharePoint
  • Ability to travel across ANZ when required
