  • Salary: $27.83 - $32.55 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual (up to 28/1/2022) - ENC/END
  • Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with the provision of professional high quality patient care to patients within the acute and aged care sites at Euduna and Kapunda Hospitals. Maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team, you will implement appropriate nursing care and assist with general and specialised procedures from nursing care plans. You will plan and prioritise your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when it is required to solve problems arising in your work area. You will provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to patients, other health care team members, and members of the public, and contribute to your professional expertise by maintaining ongoing personal professional development and continuing education through a portfolio of post-enrolment learning. Being part of Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network means you will be supported both personally and professionally, can take advantage of education and training opportunities, will have access to flexible working hours and be part of an inter-professional approach to holistic health care.

    You will be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. You will have experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. Your skills will include the ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to provide person centered- care, prioritise your workload, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

    Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
