Where you will be working


Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) spans 125,243 square kilometres across southern New South Wales, stretching from the Snowy Mountains in the east to the plains of Hillston in the northwest and all the way along the Victorian border.

Working as part of the Sexual Assault Services (SAS) team you will be working collaboratively to provide support, coverage, debriefing and training together. The Sexual Assault Field is currently an area of growth in relation to expanding service delivery, particularly focusing on highly vulnerable groups identified through Royal Commission’s.

What you will be doing


Within the policies and procedures of NSW Health Kids and Families and the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, to provide specialised therapeutic and counselling interventions appropriate to sexual assault counselling. Provision of service is for children, adults, families and groups (all ages and genders). This would include a demonstrated ability to implement effective therapies with individuals and groups.
