ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Selwyn Foundation is looking for an Operations Lead with a strong background and proven experience in ICT Infrastructure. Leading a small team of engineers and service desk staff, you will still need to be technically hands-on yourself. As well as leading the team, you will be responsible for project management, compliance and quality improvement for your area of technology.

As Operations Lead you will have strong ICT Infrastructure skills to support the needs of our business by driving effective clinical care and customer systems, and so enhance business improvement across our operational areas.

We have a reputation for innovation and delivering the best possible experience for our residents and customers, with a particular focus on trialling new technology as an enabler for better care.

We're looking for an enthusiastic candidate with experience in an ICT Infrastructure focused ‘Lead' role or someone who can demonstrate they can step up to a leadership role. A team player with passion and a ‘can do' attitude. Customer service will be your priority as you ensure your team meets the service levels the business expects. You'll take the lead on the whole spectrum of Operations systems support, so you'll have broad experience of:

ABOUT YOU:

  • Relevant experience within ICT Infrastructure, including being a team leader
  • Experience in delivering high-quality information services and promoting the business value of information services.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier / vendor relationship management including contract negotiation, managing support agreements and service levels.
  • Ability to self-manage
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to quickly understand new business environments, issues and data challenges.
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project
  • As a minimum you will have experience with the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Citrix
  • Hardware (PC, laptops, tablets, thin clients and printers/multifunction devices)

  • This is a busy full time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with flexbility around working hours. You will be based at our Group Office in Grafton as part of our ICT team, but you be required to travel to our different sites as required - so you'll need to have a full, clean NZ drivers Licence.
