About Your Role

The Autonomous Mine Warfare Program provides mine countermeasure capability to the Navy. As the Programme Manager you will be responsible for:

Planning, organising, leading and controlling the area and staff assigned to achieve outcomes within delegated authorities and responsibilities.

Managing the cost, schedule and technical performance, and implementing actions to resolve non-conformances

Coaching, supporting and delegating to team members and the whole team to enable them to achieve the work objectives;

Formal risk identification, monitoring and reporting program and ensuring risk mitigation procedures are applied;

Developing initiatives that will improve Thales Australia projects, products and services;

Preparing and evaluating budgets, expenditure and financial performance metrics

About You

Degree qualified in engineering, science or business/commercial with substantial experience delivering large and complex bids, projects and contracts

An extensive background leading programs and projects, preferably within a defence setting

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate at all levels
