Full time employment to take the role of Venue Manager to actively support the desires of the business owners following the values and ethics of the business and communicate these values to the customers and staff.
As the Venue Manager you are required to ensure the highest possible standards in the following areas:
Financial Control Adhere to budgets and plans for all expenses related to the restaurant Have a full understanding of the P&L and your role in the process Write rosters based on the forecasted amount agreed by the owner
Ordering and Stock Control Order stock appropriately for the venue
Training and Supervision Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts Ensure all employees are entered into Deputy with correct and current information Ensure every employee attends Induction and is properly inducted into the venue Assist with regular standards training that is to be recorded Assist the business owners with the day to day operation of the venue and boosting staff morale
Customer relationships Coordinate and monitor the regulars and VIP program Build relationships with the customer experience to facilitate future business and partnerships Action and deliver on all complaints related to the restaurant
Quality Control of Services Monitor food and beverage presentation and service to ensure customer satisfaction Monitor channels of feedback and action changes to create a better experience for guests
Restaurant Maintenance and repairs Ensure the restaurant is clean and presentable at all times Create a safe environment for customers and staff Ensure compliance with licensing and Restaurant Industry Award Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement
Forward Planning Assist with the internal promotion of market and events for the venue Be involved in ideas that will boost revenue, patronage and morale
Marketing Duties Design and create forecasts for future activations and venues within the brand Develop a strategy for the company in line with company objectives yearly Manage, plan, implement and improve promotional and lead generation campaigns, measuring results Maintain effective internal communications to ensure all relevant staff are kept informed Analysing potential strategic partner relationships / collaborations Undertake continuous quarterly analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends. Create a strategic plan for the different accounts across all social media channels with monthly content plans Create and implement advertisement campaigns across social media channels to boost certain events and targeted markets and audiences. Creating monthly social media reports to show the accounts growth, reach and results with paid advertising campaigns Yearly marketing plan across the brand including events and activations and broken which is broken into months Managing the business website including building different pages and platforms and updating the what’s on page
You must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Salary offered is $50k to $60k.
