Wilson Park Primary School (PS) is seeking a Teacher - Early Childhood Education to join their team.

The successful applicant will ideally be an enthusiastic and highly motivated educator with the ability to provide high quality teaching and learning programs to meet the needs of our students. You would also ideally have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be able to deliver content in an engaging manner.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will ideally possess outstanding interpersonal skills and have an ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community. Ideally, the successful applicant will have the ability to collaborate effectively with their year level and phase of learning teams. As well, being able to provide an enriched, supportive and engaging classroom environment with a focus on pastoral care behaviour management will be highly desirable.

We have a comprehensive focus on literacy and numeracy, with highly structured, research-based literacy and numeracy blocks designed to provide students with the maximum support. The integration of technology allows the students to control elements of their own learning and widens their access to information. Many of the software programs are available for students to work on at home.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

    Employees will be required to :

  • complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
