About this role:
Brunel have partnered with a leading International OEM to successfully recruit and place a suitably qualified Cost Controller to support our Clients Commercial & Risk Management Department.
The primary role of the Cost Controller is to assist the Commercial Project Manager (CPM) and Project Manager (PM) in the delivering assigned projects to their agreed financial outcomes through effective cost / financial management.
Assist the PM and CPM in the identifying and gaining approval of change requests. Assist the accounting department in establishing and coding the cost centres, thus insuring that the integrity and consistency of the project’s cost data bank are maintained.
Develop and maintain the project financials in SAP / EcoSys. Monitor the project’s cost trend and notify the project’s management of any significant escalating cost and suggest possible corrective actions.
Produce regular and accurate cost reports and cost curves.
