  • Salary: $80,830-$89,897 - ASO5 - Full Time / Term Contract (up to 3 December 2021)
  • This role is responsible for helping the Outbreak Coordination teams implement and action tasks in response to the COVID-19 Outbreak. They will work with Outbreak Coordination team members to become a central source of knowledge and assist in an administrative and logistical capacity. This role is integral to the Outbreak Coordination team and plays a key role in the success of the team.

    The role will require incumbents:

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and service providers and negotiating successful outcomes
  • Support the engagement of key senior and middle level staff to determine future needs and key deliverables proactively communicates horizontally across CDCB COVID Operations and other stakeholders within SA Health
  • Assume responsibility of key administrative tasks and logistical duties within the Outbreak Coordination Teams
  • Participate in on the job training to become an Authorised Officer under the Emergency Management Act 2004. You will exercise powers as appointed, to give directions to persons to prevent the spread of COVID-19
  • Participate in the Health Rapid Response Team including (conditional) onsite investigations, support, advice, and direction for outbreak investigations
  • This role is highly dynamic and can change as the Operations Control Team moves between modes to control COVID-19 outbreaks. In a ‘Standing' mode this role work primarily within a certain Outbreak Coordination team. In this mode they will have specific roles and responsibilities. This role will ensure the handover of tasks to different teams is completed to a high standard. In a ‘Surge' mode this role will move across multiple teams. This role will take responsibility of certain tasks from start to finish across multiple teams. They will assume their usual responsibilities and extra ones as they are assigned.
