The Enterprise Sales Associate (ESA) role is a selling and support role to drive new business and to develop ServiceNows next generation of sales talent through a structured development and promotional path. As an important member of the global Inside Go To Market organization, the ESA partners with Account Executives to generate new sales revenue. This will be achieved by supporting Account Executives on strategic account planning, territory planning, researching prospect customers, using business development techniques and completing field-based sales activities within a defined set of prospects, territory or industry. What you get to do in this role The Enterprise Support Associate supports internal and external customers while achieving quarterly and annual sales quotas for assigned clients. Identify and drive new business for smaller transactions in existing and under penetrated Enterprise accounts. Assist aligned Account Executives on larger transactions by taking on tasks that can be handled more effectively on the inside, such as building quotes and proposals. Enable and support the broader account team (Solutions Consultant, Solution Sales, Renewal Sales and Customer Success). Learn from experienced Sales professionals through every stage of the selling process and customer journey. Create formal networks with key decision makers and develop a stronger understanding of all aspects of the selling process. Provide on demand sales support to customers. Drive sales process management, opportunity closure, and ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and help drive additional revenue streams. Invest in growth by continuing to develop your skills through formal training and coaching. To be successful in this role you should have 1 years of experience in a direct or support role on a software or solution sales team Experience in Business to Business sales (B2B) Effective time management skills Prior experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients as well as internal teams A growth mindset, consistently working to improve your skills and adapt in a constantly changing environment Ability to understand broad, macro-level business IT needs for a prospective client Travel for training and/or meetings may occasionally be required
