Nielsen measures more than half of the world’s total broadcast, print and online advertising. In Australia, advertising spend is a $10 billion industry spanning across free-to-air TV, print, online display, radio, out-of-home, direct mail and cinema advertising.

We provide advertisers, agencies and media owners with a picture of the competitive landscape in Australia by measuring who advertised, on which medium, how much was spent by the campaign, how many ads and ad formats. We can then break this down further by key industry sector and individual advertiser.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for monitoring digital advertising data, using a monitoring tool, you will then load data into our system

Review advertisement on digital platform 

Conduct quality check and review each advertisement to ensure the product, description and labels are advertised accordingly 

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of media landscape
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, candidate graduated from media background is an added advantage. 
  • An ability to understand technical information and an eye for detail
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with experience working with multiple databases
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLookUps and Pivot tables)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of people
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Shows initiative and a strong sense of urgency
