About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner, who will take responsibilities for all aspects of maintenance planning for Cataby Mining Operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will provide maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure the planned performance and integrity of the company’s income producing plant at the lowest practical cost. The role performs a wide variety of functions such as Planned Maintenance, Scheduling Equipment Overhauls, strategy reviews to minimize unplanned maintenance, and breakdown response.
Key accountabilities will include:Manage day-to-day maintenance planning activities. This will include development work on SAP, planning process, work management and inventory managementEnsuring planning horizon and key milestones are metManage master data requirements for department & utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) knowledge to ensure data health for functional locations, equipment, BOMs, measure points, capacity profiles and work centresEnsure weekly maintenance plans & schedules meet minimum KPIs each week
To be successful for this role, you will have:Considerable experience in a similar role gained in maintaining fixed plantPrevious shutdown and maintenance experience in a process plantProven commitment to safetyStrong communication skills both verbal and writtenComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Strong understanding of both production and maintenance strategies for large scare processing plantScheduling ExperienceSound use of MS project, Excel, Word and SAPC Class Driver’s LicenseMechanical Trade background desirable

This position is semi remote and located on our operational site 150km north of Perth at Cataby in the Shire of Dandaragan. The position is offered as Drive in Drive out (DIDO) basis, on family friendly 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The successful candidate if required can stay at the Cataby camp village which provides employees with high standard facilities including en-suite accommodation (bathroom, air-conditioning, bar fridge, TV, linen and towels), equipped gymnasium and fully catered mess hall providing all meals and crib facilities.
