About Your Role

  • Requirements elicitation, analysis and development for new proposals and resulting from change requests
  • Conducting trade/trade-off studies to assist with selection of solutions and/or associated equipment.
  • Development of product specifications, detailed design documentation and engineering management plans.
  • In conjunction with the Solution Architect, and Project Design Authority, assist to develop comprehensive architecture designs for end-to-end solutions. 
  • Provide engineering guidance and support during the implementation and execution of engineering and maintenance tasks including fault finding and systems operation.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of requirements management, test management, safety management and systems engineering in accordance with CHORUS processes and ETUP practices
  • Maintain currency and high skill levels in Thales business lines’ technologies, keep abreast of relevant technology directions and trends.
  • How About you

  • Tertiary engineering qualification
  • Eligible for recognition by Engineers Australia (IEAust)
  • Relevant experience within the Transportation domain desirable.
  • Practical experience in electronics, communication, information technology systems or signalling
  • Good to Know

    The base salary of the role is $67,579.91 per annual.
