Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The primary responsibility for this position is to analyse actual results and prepare and analyse the monthly rolling forecast and annual budget for all Wholesale and Supply Chain (including inventory) related departments, while supporting the Senior Manager, FP&A in providing comprehensive business analysis on a cross functional basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume role of internal consultant to the Wholesale and Supply Chain departments of the business on day to day reporting requirements, analysis of actual results and preparation of budgets and forecasts and ensuring delivery of accurate and relevant solutions that constantly challenge the accepted norm.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of both annual Budget and Rolling Forecasts to Group, including the upload of information into GRAPE and SAP.
  • The analysis of actual results and the preparation and analysis of the monthly rolling forecast.
  • Assume role of internal consultant to the business for all inventory reporting and analysis, including inventory forecasting by country and channel as well as month end analysis and IDL calculations.
  • Responsible for monthly GRAPE upload and generating monthly reporting requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of accurate and relevant solutions that constantly challenge the accepted norm.
  • Assist the Senior Manager, FP&A on adhoc reporting and analysis tasks.
  • Key FP&A contact for company OPEX analysis and reporting including the investigation of efficiency improvements within the reporting and forecasting process.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
  • Experience in a similar Business Analyst role with a financial and accounting background is highly desirable.
  • CPA / CA qualification.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Well-developed aptitude for Business.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.

    Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completed tertiary qualifications in Finance/Accounting and have 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • CPA / CA qualification or working towards.
