Known as one of Australia’s leading men’s lifestyle publications, DMARGE continues to grow and needs a clever and witty writer to join its team.

The ideal candidate will be a recent journalism/comms grad or someone with a passion for writing. This particular role requires someone with a deep interest in products, luxury, fashion, watches and cool shit. You will need to be a self-starter, someone who can contribute in a group environment and add value to frequent editorial brainstorming sessions. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop your own editorial ideas across men’s fashion, shopping, sneakers, grooming and tech. 
  • Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions to develop new editorial ideas for your area of the editorial team 
  • Review, schedule and publish daily content 
  • Source, edit and load images to editorial content 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest current events and affairs in your local market
  • Help drive audience and traffic growth through your editorial prowess

    • Experience / Expertise

  • A degree (duh) or some seriously impressive examples of short-form writing (products, news)
  • Strong knowledge of all things digital and all things men
  • A folio of both long and short format editorial
  • Perfect spelling and grammar
  • Excellent image editing skills (Photoshop)
  • Experience in WordPress, Google Apps and all major social media platforms

  • Graduate full-time salary on offer ($54,000 approx package)
