The role
Becoming a School Crossing Supervisor is a great way to earn an income without making great compromises on your time. During the hours of supervising, you’ll become vital to the safety of our kids, parents and teachers, and be an important second pair of eyes for local motorists.
The role is held in very high esteem in our communities and touches the lives of families everywhere.
The base rate for this role is $22 per hour.
Total of 10 hours required per fortnight for Holgate Public School - 2 XPositions. Shifts fall between 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 10 hours required per fortnight for Elermore Vale Public School. Shifts fall between 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 20 hours required per fortnight for Woy Woy Public School. Shifts fall between 8.20am to 9.20am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 10 hours required per fortnight for Charlestown Public School. Shifts fall between 8.30am to 9.30am and 2.45pm to 3.45pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 10 hours required per fortnight for Wyong Public School. Shifts fall between 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 20 hours required per fortnight for Swansea Public School. Shifts fall between 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.30pm to 3,30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 10 hours required per fortnight for Niagara Park. Shifts fall between 8.15am to 9.15am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
Total of 10 hours required per fortnight for Speers Point Public School. Shifts fall between 8.10am to 9.10am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.
About you
You’re someone with the discipline to show up for our communities - in good or bad weather. You have good communication skills, community spirit and a positive energy.
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All other training and equipment will be provided to enable you to work independently.
As you’ll be working with children on our roads, candidates must be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check, Police Check, and a Health Assessment. Don’t worry if you haven’t done it before, we will help you through the process!
