Lizard Island Resort is located on the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, just over an hour’s flight north east of Cairns, QLD.

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Spa Manager to join our team. Specifically we are looking for a Spa Manager who is multi skilled with the ideal candidate presenting with strong massage experience and other qualifications that will help enhance our guest experience, e.g. Yoga, remedial, waxing, nails, etc.

What's involved:

  • Manage the efficient booking of treatments to maximise revenue and therapists time
  • Rostering therapists to cover all treatments and the boutique operations
  • Promote and encourage further Spa treatments and add-on sales
  • Maintain a harmonious and peaceful environment within and external to the Spa
  • Deal with customer request or complaints in accordance with Delaware North policies and procedures and in a professional manner
  • Create special experiences one guest at a time
  • Stock management/ordering, team leadership, strategic planning and marketing for Spa and Boutique operations
  • Training new team members in Spa treatments and retail selling

    • Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in 4/5-star hotels or resorts
  • Certificate IV in Massage or Beauty Therapy, at minimum
  • Proven experience in leading, training and developing a team.
  • Commitment to guest satisfaction and excellence in customer service.

    This is a "live-on" remote location role .
