Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of storage products in the world, they specialise in designing, supplying and installing world class storage solutions to Australian businesses, big or small.

They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and goal driven Sales Representative to join their team in the North - Western (Hill side) suburbs of Sydney. This role will cover Sydney wide

Key Responsibilities:

oIdentify potential customers and establish new accounts
oService existing accounts in a timely manner in order to obtain further orders
oPlan and organize daily work schedule to call on exiting or potential customers
oEnsure Sales and Service Co-Ordinator is making all required appointments and managing the diary efficiently
oPreparation of quotes for customers in a timely manner
oEnsure stock items are available
oResearch customers business in order to provide appropriate sales information
oFocus the sales effort by researching customer volumes and potential growth areas
oMonitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and product ranges; new products; delivery schedules; merchandising techniques
oRecommend changes in products and services based on competitive developments
oResolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports
oMaintain customer records – Sales Area/Location
oPreparation of Activity and Results Reports
oMaintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participation in professional seminars/workshops.


Sales Administration

oMaintain and update customer data in a timely manner
oLiase with Sales Support and Customer Service staff
oMaintain updated customer contact details
oRegularly check stock items with the inventory co-ordinator
oReview and / or create tender and sales documents to ensure accuracy

Post-Sale:

oConfirm material items are correct, verify items still available, review other options if not available with design team
oEnsure inventory items as required to complete sales order are available, including correct pricing
oEnsure pricing on inventory items is up to date
oType or arrange for the typing of inspection reports
oEnsure client and sales data in CRM system is up to date and accurate
oBuild and maintain rapport with key client and suppliers

To be successful in this role, you will have:

•Two to three years’ experience in a sales role
•Experience working with or knowledge of pallet racking industry is preferred
•Ability to confidently use all relevant company IT systems
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
•Flexibility to work on and off site as required to meet sales objectives
•This is an ideal role for a Sales driven and focused candidate
