Description:Busy Carlton venue seeking an admin all rounder & events superstar.Supporting our event manager we are looking for an administrative superstar to assist with all reservations & events within the K&G precinct.Initally a 3 day a week part time admin role we are also looking for a person not afraid to get involved with set up and hosting of weekend events and ensuring our front of house staff are across the nuances of each and every party. Work in the K&G offices assisting with reservation enquiries and following up on group bookings and email enquiries.
Support our events co-ordinator, restaurant managers and GM for general admin tasks.
For the right candidate more hours are also available for event setup and front of house work if required.With three floors of events spaces and a kitchen garden this is the perfect job for events co-ordinator looking to learn new skills across a busy precinct.Ideal skill sets for the right candidate include:- The ability to support the planning, coordination and delivery of events from intial enquiry through to the event itself- An excellent and professional phone manner and fun and engaging customer service skills- General office support & administrative experience- A proven ability to problem solve and come up with new and fun ways to assist our guests- Previous event management experienceWe're a close knit team and we're looking for a candidate who is driven and loves hosting the perfect event.A passion for food and wine is a must, experience with Italian cuisine will be looked upon favourably.Only applications with a cover letter and resume included will be considered.
