We are looking for a  Parts Coordinator to manage spare parts procurement and consolidation services for our Amrun site.

Reporting to the Supervisor and working a 4/5/5 roster you will be:

  • Managing spare parts consolidation for scheduled short and midterm maintenance;
  • Staging of spare parts to support weekly HME maintenance activities (2 weeks ahead);
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and support functions;
  • Ensuring timely turnaround of exchange components;
  • Managing urgent parts procurement and expediting;
  • Managing parts and consumables supply efficiently and cost effectively;
  • Maintaining regional and local systems, standards, solutions in line with global policies/standards;
  • Proactively reviewing and identifying ways to improve work processes, procedures, service and relationships.

    Rio Tinto Weipa is located 900km north-west of Cairns on the Gulf of Carpentaria and has been operating for over 50 years.
