ATCO is looking for a Project Supervisor with experience in the Construction, Utilities and/or Energy Sector. Using your strong interpersonal and demonstrated leadership skills you will be responsible for supervising construction activities in conjunction with the Capital Projects Team and provide support to the project delivery teams to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Recoverable Project construction activities. This Position will be reporting to the Pipeline Construction Lead within the Major Recoverable Projects team.

What you will contribute to:

  • Supervises the delivery of a current and future Customer Recoverable Projects.
  • Provide information and assistance to deliver timely and accurate contract progress reports and forecasting related to Customer Recoverable works. This includes milestone, deliverable, payment schedules and variations.
  • Provides expert technical advice on priorities, risks and issues related to construction activities.
  • Manages and fosters relationships, networks and alliances with relevant contractors to ensure compliance in line with the terms and conditions of commercial contracts.
  • Represents ATCO in consultation and negotiations with relevant external stakeholders and contractors
  • Field supervision of internal GDO teams working on the Customer Recoverable Projects
  • Responds and resolves issues escalated from customers and/or team members and assists with inspections and investigations related to field activities.
  • Completes inspections as required on work practices, vehicle and equipment condition to ensure compliance to relevant processes, procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.

    • About you:

  • Demonstrate experience in a Supervisor role which involved the planning and allocation of required resources.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in the construction of gas distribution systems
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to influence, build and maintain strategic relationships with a range of stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good Computer skills including the ability to utilize a range of information systems (MS Office)
