The Digital and Publishing Operations team is currently seeking an Ad Operations Executive to monitor and optimise several digital campaigns across our business based in our CBD office.

Identify campaign objectives and create customised strategies during the briefing stage Work with Campaign Managers to execute digital campaigns across guaranteed and non-guaranteed settings to delivery on clients key performance outcomes Ensure campaigns deliver on performance goals and make optimisations as required throughout the lifetime of the campaign Make calculated decisions in bids, inventory, audience and targeting mixology to achieve campaign objectives Run weekly WIP meetings with key stakeholders to ensure all campaigns are achieving objectives Deliver campaigns across the Nine network, as well as trade competitively across premium third-party inventory, ensuring the management of margin Creation and implementation of pixels to effectively track user behaviour Interpret end of campaign results and provide recommendations to drive future revenue
Responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Education Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Media) or relevant Digital Technology tertiary qualifications and/or related work experience and post tertiary qualifications
Essential 1 + years of experience in an ad operations role Experience with ad serving technology (GAM and/or Xandr preferred) Familiar with Media Buys and Planning in Brand (Direct) and Programmatic Proficient use of Microsoft Office, primarily Excel/or Google Docs Knowledge of DCM, Sizmek and/or other third-party vendors Attention to detail; exact precision in data input Quick learner and able to acquire and apply technical skills Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment Apply critical thinking to find resolutions to deliver successful campaigns Proficient in Digital Language to communicate efficiently with external and internal stakeholders such as Editors, Developers and Sales teams.
Desirable Demonstrated industry experience in developing, managing, monitoring and reporting on digital marketing campaigns in a digital ecosystem Experience with project & task management online systems Proficient in trading platforms. Understand value proposition and can provide technology recommendations based on this knowledge. Understands reporting capabilities within the platforms Knowledgeable on ancillary tools (brand safety, viewability, attribution etc). Skilled optimizer Experience in using 3rd party vendor platforms such as Sizmek and DFP. Experience in using Information technology systems in a sales support capacity.
