    Yurika has an exciting 24 month fixed term opportunity for a Construction Manager - Civil , based in Brisbane.

    The Construction Manager - Civil’s primary objective is to effectively and efficiently manage the project site to Energy Queensland (EQL) and client expectations and manages all construction activities, ensuring that site safety, compliance with statutory regulations, EQL standards, policies and business guidelines are achieved.

    We are looking for an experienced construction manager with the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • QBCC Builders Licence minimum low rise, open is preferredlicence MUST be a current contractor licence, NOT Supervisor licence
  • General Construction induction card (white card)
  • Certificate IV in Civil Construction
  • ‘C’ class Drivers Licence
  • Certificate IV in OH&S (Desirable)
  • Ability to work on utility networks across Australia (including private HV networks)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • A key requirement of the position will be to become Yurika’s nominee supervisor and the holder of the company’s QBCC licence.

    This position is predominantly field based and the incumbent will be required to travel interstate and work away from home on a regular rostered basis.

    External candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, this will be organised at the interview stage where applicable.

    The position has been evaluated as Supervisor Grade 4 ($117,124 to $140,948 per annum). The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020.
