  • The Options Advisor role welcomes and facilitates customer access and entry to Avivo’s supports and services. They develop an understanding of the customer’s needs and goals and connect them to the appropriate Avivo Team.

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referrers. Respond to referrals through portals, telephone calls and emails across all funders.
  • Working within funder requirements to determine customers’ needs and goals and match to appropriate Teams.
  • Follow Avivo processes for customer registration, building customer records, budgets and reports.
  • Working closely with Area Teams and Business Streams within the regions and providing training and updates on systems and funding as required.
  • Working within a supportive team of Options Advisors across Avivo
  • To be considered for this role you'll need:

  • Ability to communicate effectively across Avivo and with external stakeholders assisting them to understand Avivo’s ways of working.
  • Knowledge and understanding of disability, aged care and mental health sectors’, funding, standards and program requirements. Ability to communicate and share this knowledge with others.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, literacy, financial and reporting skills.
  • Strong IT skills including ability to use portals and systems
  • Previous experience in Community Services preferred
  • Minimum Cert 4 in Disability, Aged Care and Mental Health preferred
