Damn Good Beauty own some of Australia’s most up-and-coming and innovative beauty brands. While our brands have been around for a bit, DG was launched in 2020 as the umbrella company to house (and love!) these brands.
We started as eCommerce only, but are quickly growing in awareness and presence across Australian retail. We also sublicence our brands to another Australian business, VANITY GROUP (you may have heard of ’em). They manufacture and distribute our products into key hotels around the world – so you can have us at home and on holiday!
THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL You will support in the implementation of the digital marketing strategy across 3 brands and all paid and organic digital channels You will be the key contact to the digital agency in delivering the strategy, campaign plans and content Monitor paid search and paid social marketing campaigns to ensure they are optimised and achieving maximum ROI Working with the social media & content coordinator to develop relevant on brand content for paid channels Develop ongoing data analysis, track trends and provide insights to the business Measure and report on the results of all paid digital activity, evaluating overall ROAS and market share Research and identify new paid digital opportunities for brand awareness and conversion Oversee digital marketing projects such as brand lift studies and customer journey mapping Maintain google stack including merchant centre and Facebook Business manager shopping feeds Ensure clean and consistent tagging and data collection for all brands on all digital channels Support the delivery of our affiliate program and other digital marketing initiatives as required Setup, deploy and report on brand EDMs and ensure all campaigns are implemented and executed on time When required set up and test all site promotions Oversee when required website content updates, including homepage changeovers and the creation of landing pages
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 2 years minimum solid Digital Marketing experience, ideally in skincare/beauty or fashion 1 year minimum Ecommerce CMS experience/exposure 2 years minimum Digital Marketing platform experience both set up, management and maintenance (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.) 1 year minimum experience in email marketing platform (set up, deploy, report) SEO knowledge Excellent data analysis & reporting skills – you know and understand sales funnels, conversions and tracking sales Well-developed communication, time management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment whilst maintaining composure Strong commercial and business acumen
