Description:

We are seeking an experienced Property and Facilities Officer to join a Federal Government Agency based in Parramatta. This role will be an APS5 equivalent.

The Role:
The Property and Facilities Officer will be required to independently support a full scheme property rollout for our client. You will also be responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders and be involved in high level administrative assistance to support day to day activities.

Responsibilities include:

First point of contact for staff in regards to property matters

Provide thorough information and effective support to internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work under limited direction

Support day to day property activities in the office

Monitor and resolve property issues which come in through the team inbox

Support the Property Team to maintain current sites in accordance with the Strategic Property Plan

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, together with an exceptional level of internal and external stakeholder management. Having a strong interest or previous experience with the Disability Sector would be an advantage.

In addition, you will demonstrate the following:

Previous experience in working in a commonwealth property environment including facilities management (desirable)

A high level accuracy and attention to detail

Strong Administration experience and a high level of competency with Microsoft Office

The ability to demonstrate flexibility within a team and to communicate effectively with people at all levels to ensure the smooth, efficient and on time operation of the office

The ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner

Proven experience in dealing with Property, Security and Facilities - related enquiries
