About your Role
As we undergo an exciting transformation in our Parts Supply Chain function, an opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Planning Analyst to join our team in a permanent full time
role. Reporting to Inventory Team Leader this role provides an opportunity to deliver supply chain analytics to support our business operations across Australia and Pacific Islands.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Complete inventory modelling to assess required product coverage Develop and implement appropriate plans and timeframes to transition inventory base from current to future state model based on validated and approved inventory models Develop, plan and manage obsolescence through to full disposition of material Engage with business leaders to understand inventory coverage deficiencies and develop, implement, and review corrective actions Identify continuous improvement opportunities and engage with multiple business streams to implement these improvements Assist with maintaining daily inventory processes, including stock replenishment, and control optimum stocking levels of inventory Action, distribute and reconcile daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory reporting Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimized inventory strategies Complete analysis and provide advice to facilitate decision making processes. About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role: Tertiary qualifications in Inventory Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business or equivalent industry experience Advanced Microsoft Excel including VBA (Visual Basic Application) is essential Ability to write SQL to extract data and previous experience with Power BI would be highly regarded Supply chain systems and distribution logistics knowledge Experience in an inventory or supply chain role within a diversified company would be highly regarded. This role would also be suited to a recent graduate for the right candidate. Mining and/or construction equipment product knowledge would be highly regarded Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
