Leading a team of 8 IT professionals, as our Infrastructure, Platforms and Operations Manager you will develop, maintain and support cost-effective and reliable IT Infrastructure services at WINC.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and lead the team to deliver a reliable and cost-efficient Cloud and Infrastructure service in line with the KPIs
  • Develop IT business cases as well as support and deliver IT initiatives for tactical and strategic IT improvements
  • Ensure an optimal deliver of IT services by executing the minor and major incident as well as service and change management process
  • Assist with the management of the IT budget and drive initiatives for budget optimization
  • Mentor the team for individual development, engage all onshore and offshore team members, set and monitor priorities and KPIs
  • About you:

  • Experience managing and optimising a large Microsoft Azure Cloud environment
  • Experience managing a data centre, along with Backup and Disaster recovery for environments hosted in a DC.
  • Hands-on experience delivering an End-User Compute environment (SOE, Governance, Delivery Optimisation, Intune)
  • Hands-on experience managing a heterogenous fleet running in the cloud as well as on premise (Wintel, AIX, Linux)
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure design and operations, leveraging common tools & techniques to do so.
  • Experience in Cloud operations
  • Intermediate project management skill with a high level of detail, accuracy and consistency
  • Advanced problem identification and resolution management
  • Pragmatic & result oriented People Leader with an ability to be hands-on and delegate as required
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels
