About the role:

Working collaboratively with our distribution partners, the Distributor Sales Development Manager will develop and drive new business opportunities within the Institutional Division. Reporting to the Distributor Sales Manager, you will be pivotal in winning new business as well as expanding our distribution partners product range. This is a critical role with responsibility for driving profitable growth through established distribution networks to help ensure regional sales and profit targets are achieved. This role will focus on customers in the Hospitality, Lodging, Facilities, Aged Care & Healthcare sectors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and strategically managing a successful sales pipeline
  • Work closely with our distribution partners to ensure sales growth through selling initiatives, product launches and marketing campaigns to strengthen existing distributor accounts
  • Identify key distribution opportunities for growth and nurture the relationships with future distributors
  • Provide technical expertise in hygiene and sanitisation solutions to our customers
  • Achieve new business sales targets established as part of the budgeting process
  • Work closely with the State Sales Manager to ensure the successful implementation of sales revenue and margin improvement initiatives
  • Build and foster industry contacts via networking, trade shows, functions and equipment suppliers
  • By nature, you can demonstrate:

  • A consistent track record of securing new business
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude to build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers
  • A previous experience of working with distribution partners would be advantageous
  • Previous sales experience in either the Hospitality, Lodging, Facilities, Aged Care & Healthcare sectors
  • A current and valid driver's licence
