Talent International are currently looking for a permanent Manager - Enterprise Architecture
for one of our Brisbane based aviation Clients based near Brisbane Airport.
This role is a permanent opportunity and is responsible for the development of the technology strategy to support the business strategy and to develop and govern the enterprise. This position is responsible for managing and developing longer term strategy and Enterprise Architecture to bring processes and application together to form a view of the technology landscape. Responsibilities
: Manage and develop longer term technology strategy and Enterprise Architecture to bring processes and applications together to form a view of the technology landscape over a 5-year period. Technology strategy should be aligned to overall business strategy. Lead the Enterprise Architecture practice. Manage Enterprise Architecture to reflect strategic direction and provide control of technology services. Accountable for the end-to-end technical components for the National Airways Systems (NAS) and to ensure that all components work together. Act as chief architect, making relevant decisions and approving outcomes relevant to this role Develop, manage and govern application & technology as-is, target and transition architectures. Govern enterprise architecture in line with architecture governance principles and framework. Set up and maintain Centre of Excellence to drive standardisation and collaboration around Architecture across the business. Engage stakeholders and understand business requirement for new technology services and implications for existing architecture. Requirements
: Required to hold or be able to attain registration as a Professional Engineer in relevant area of engineering in accordance with relevant legislation e.g. Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ). Develop and operationalise technology strategy and enterprise architecture development and governance ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Demonstrated ability to drive, deliver and sustain large scale transformation. Strong leadership, influencing, stakeholder management and communications skills. A proficient knowledge and understanding of the Australian National Airways System (NAS) or comparable technology based, high reliability/ availability/ maintainability service delivery environment. Experienced in applying architecture frameworks, including 'The Open Group Architecture Framework'. Demonstrated experience in running an architecture practice.
