We are seeking candidates interested in applying for an Expression of Interest for Engineering Tradesperson Fabrication (Boilermaker). The fixed term period will run from January to May 2021.

The following criteria will be used in the selection process:

  • Self-motivated and organised, work independently with a minimal level of supervision
  • Act/work safely and maintain a healthy and safe work environment
  • Work effectively within a team environment and work in conjunction with maintenance and service teams
  • Ability to readily understand, interpret and work from detailed construction and fabrication drawings
  • Good organisational, planning and decision-making skills will be highly regarded
  • Abide by and communicate Wilmar policies, procedures and values

    • The successful candidate should hold the following essential criteria:

  • Qualified Engineering Tradesperson (Fabrication) 
  • Manual Driver's Licence
  • Demonstrate the ability to qualify against common weld procedures used in structured steel and plate fabrication
  • Candidates with current or past qualifications in welding will be highly regarded

    • Other Skills or tickets may be view favourably, please ensure these form part of your application.

    As a Herbert Region employee, the successful applicants in the above position will be required to commence or finish work on time at any Herbert Regional work site depending on the needs of the business.
