    About the Role:

    WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Control System Engineer on behalf of our client to join their team on a Lithium project in the Pilbara. Initially on an ongoing basis with potential for permanency, this position is a Monday to Friday role with full time hours, initially office based with ad-hoc travel, transitioning to FIFO to oversee commissioning activities.

    Key Responsibilities will include:

    • Work within a team of experienced engineers and support the Lead Engineers in ensuring that the project team delivers to the required quality, time, and budget as per standards, relevant Australian standards.
    • Develop scope, quality & timing required for rectification works.
    • Provide first response maintenance engineering support to ensure high asset availability.
    • Uphold HSE stands and policies to meet business priorities and ensure all relevant approvals are in place.
    • Provide routine reports and update metrics on progress of works.
    • Review maintenance process and procedures to improve safety and asset performance.
    • Analyse operating performance of assets and implement improvement projects to eliminate defect.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Relevant Engineering degree
    • Experience with industrial control systems preferably in mining.
    • Current "C" Class Driver's License
    • Capable of working in a team environment and proactively engages with stakeholders.
    • Strong communication skills
