    To achieve our aspirations, we are seeking an experienced Waste Projects Coordinator to join our team. This role will lead the education and projects support team in a range of commercial business improvement and support functions for the waste service.

    As the Waste Projects Coordinator, you will support the City by:

  • Supporting the Waste and Cleaning Manager to identify and facilitate innovation, change, and continuous improvement strategies in alignment with the City's Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Business Plan, and the Waste Management Plan.
  • Providing leadership and support to the education and projects support team as well as wider Waste and Cleaning teams as needed, under limited direction.
  • Developing and implementing the waste and cleaning annual projects program as identified in the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007.
  • Providing high-level management of contracts and tenders.
  • If you have extensive experience in project management, waste education, or behavioural change, we welcome your application.
