- Manage the national visitor centre accreditation program, auditing accredited centres annually.
- Prepare and issue member communications, facilitating engagement and development opportunities as agreed upon by the management committee.
- Coordinate and analyse visitor statistics using Survey Monkey, reviewing TVIN data on customer usage and satisfaction.
- Collate and present data in the Annual Report.
- Operate virtually using video, chat, and meetings platforms like Zoom/Teams.
- Manage the Emergency Messaging partnership project with the Tasmania Fire Service and SES.
- Facilitate effective advocacy, preparing briefing documentation and presentations in conjunction with the management committee and TVIN members.
- Work collaboratively with the TVIN chairperson, ensuring objective advice and recommendations that support TVIN member objectives and grant funding obligations.
- Update and manage the TVIN website using Square Space.
- High-level time management and computer skills.
- A proven track record of achieving successful results, on time and within budget.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Tasmanian tourism industry, local government in Tasmania, and the Tasmanian state public sector.
- Advocacy experience.
- Ability to work independently as an independent contractor, with their own ABN, office, equipment, laptop, internet connectivity, and mobile telephone.
- Professional indemnity insurance for the duration of the contract.
- Minimum 12-month contract term, with potential for extension to 3 years subject to funding confirmation.
- $60 per hour hourly rate, part-time average of 3 days per week (max 960 hours per annum).
- Travel allowance reimbursement of $0.88c/km travelled using own vehicle.
- Payment terms: payable in arrears, one invoice per month.
- An experienced Executive Officer with a strong understanding of the Tasmanian tourism industry.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including the management committee and TVIN members.

About the Tasmanian Visitor Information Network
The Tasmanian Visitor Information Network Inc. (TVIN) is a not-for-profit industry association representing accredited visitor centres across Tasmania, providing services, training, and support for its members.
The TVIN manages the national visitor information centre accreditation program in Tasmania on behalf of Tourism Tasmania, serving as the only state-wide organisation representing visitor centres.
