An opportunity exists for a Social Marketing and Strategic Communications Specialist to join this organisation on a part-time basis of 4 days per week.

    This organisation is directly shaping the future of community support and engagement across the entire Australian not-for-profit sector by working closely with community leaders, philanthropists, government and other key stakeholders. The highly successful whole-of-community initiative uses its Collective Impact approach to make a difference. This organisation has developed its Shared Decision-Making model with the community to bring key stakeholders together to work collaboratively and in partnership to impact the Early Childhood system, prioritising outcomes for children, families, the community, and the system itself.

    About the Role:

    This is an exceptional opportunity where you can play an integral role in supporting the social marketing and strategic communications for this pioneering organisation. Your role will be wide-ranging and include:
    • Developing and implementing communication strategies to engage stakeholders and community members.
    • Creating compelling content and messaging to raise awareness and mobilise support for the organisation's goals and facilitate dialogue with key stakeholders ranging from community members, government stakeholders and philanthropists.
    • Managing social media platforms and digital channels to disseminate information and facilitate dialogue.
    • Producing content such as articles, press releases, newsletters, blogs, campaigns and social media materials to share updates and achievements,
    • Cultivate partnerships with media outlets, influencers, and other organisations to amplify the initiative's reach
    • Monitor and analyse metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and make data-driven adjustments
    • Provide training and resources to partners and stakeholders to enhance their communication skills and alignment with the organisation's messaging and goals.

    Your Background:

    You should have demonstrated experience managing the marketing and communication function for an organisation, coupled with a passion for supporting the not-for-profit industry where you know your contributions can make a substantial and positive impact on the community.

    You should be proactive, adaptable and able to take ownership of your role. Although this amazing organisation is experiencing significant growth, you will take full ownership of a broad role. This will require you to demonstrate a broad skill set and an adaptable personality. You should be comfortable developing effective communication and marketing strategies while being hands-on and enjoy developing content for social media, newsletters and press releases.

    This will be a part-time role of 4 days per week, providing you flexibility around days, working hours and Work-From-Home options. As such, you should be comfortable committing to a part-time role.
